Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) carefully before registering for the business cards provided by DIBS Technologies (“Company”). By registering for the business cards, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to register for the business cards. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

2. Registration Process

To register for the business cards, you must provide accurate and complete information as requested by the Company. This may include personal details, contact information, and any other relevant information required for the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your registration details and ensuring their accuracy.

3. Ownership and Use
Upon successful registration, the business cards provided by the Company remain the property of DIBS Technologies. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the business cards for promotional or networking purposes in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

4. Proper Use
You agree to use the business cards responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You shall not use the business cards for any unlawful or unauthorized purposes, including but not limited to spamming, harassment, or fraudulent activities. The business cards are for professional use only and should not be misused or misrepresented in any way.

5. Limitations

The business cards provided by the Company are subject to availability and may be limited in quantity. The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the availability of the business cards at any time without prior notice.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty
The business cards are provided on an “as is” basis without any warranties, express or implied. The Company disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the business cards or their suitability for any specific purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the registration or use of the business cards. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

8. Modification of Terms
The Company reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Agreement on the Company’s website. It is your responsibility to review the Terms and Conditions periodically for any updates.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of South Africa.

10. How NFC Works and NFC Security:
NFC (Near Field Communication) is a secure technology that enables two devices, such as our NFC cards and smartphones, to communicate when placed in close proximity. It operates through electromagnetic induction and encrypted data transmission, ensuring secure interactions. At DIBS Technologies, we implement a locking mechanism on our NFC cards after adding our software to prevent unauthorized access or changes to the card’s content. This ensures that clients’ NFC cards remain secure and do not pose any risks to their mobile devices or confidential information. The NFC cards will only direct users to the use our pre-configured software without extracting or accessing any sensitive data from the client’s device, prioritizing data privacy and security.

11. Company Cover Photo Usage:
By using our NFC cards, you grant us permission to display your company’s cover photo or logo on our website, alongside other customers’ showcases. This visual representation is for promotional purposes only, showcasing businesses utilizing our NFC card solutions. If you wish to remove your company’s cover photo, kindly inform us in writing, and we will promptly comply.

12. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and DIBS Technologies regarding the registration and use of the business cards, superseding any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.

By registering for the business cards, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, please do not proceed with the registration.
